Day 2: Tashkent - Samarkand
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing Tashkent, including visits to Chorsu Bazar in the old city part of Tashkent, Kukuldash Mosque and Khast Imom - official religious center for Muslims in Central Asia, consists of Barak Khan Madrassa (16 cent), Tilla Shaykh Mosque - the Osman Koran, believed to be world's oldest Koran is kept in the library of this Mosque, a mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shoshi - an Islamic scholar of 13-14th century. Lunch. Drive to Samarkand (4 hours). Arrival to Samarkand. Settlement at the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Samarkand.
Day 3: Samarkand
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing Samarkand, which will include: famous Registan Square (with Madrassa Sherdor 17th century, Tilla Kori and Ulugbek 15th century), Shokhi Zinda Nekropole (important pilgrimage place in Samarkand), remains of grandiose Bibi Khanum Mosque, Gur Emir-Mausoleum (where conqueror Amir Temur (Tamerlane), his two sons and two grandsons are buried, 15th century), Ulugbek Observatory. Lunch during the day. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Samarkand.
Day 4: Samarkand - Nurata - Yangigazgan
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Nurata. Visiting the old Mosque with holy spring water and holy fish, old ruins of the fortress built by Alexander the Great. Lunch. Continue to Yangigazgan village, then to Kyzylkum desert to the Kazakh Yurts. In the evening learn how to ride camels. Dinner around the fire with Kazakh akin singing Kazakh national songs. Overnight in the Yurts.
Day 5: Yangigazgan - Bukhara
Breakfast. Camel riding in Kyzylkum. Drive to Aydarkul lake. Lunch. After drive to Bukhara. Arrive to Bukhara. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Bukhara.
Day 6: Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing Bukhara: Ismail Samonid mausoleum (a burial place of the Samani dynasty founder Ismail Samani, 10th century), Kalon Minaret and Poi Kalon Mosque, Miri Arab Madrassa (16th century), Ulugbek Madrassa (15th century) and Abdilazizkhan Madrassa (17th century), Magoki Attory Mosque (is a very interesting construction, with facade 12th century and reconstructed in 16th century, with Zoroastrian temple ornaments underneath), Lyabi House complex. Lunch during the day. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Bukhara.
Day 7: Bukhara - Khiva
Breakfast at the hotel. In the first half of the day continue sightseeing Bukhara: Ark Fortress (a home to the rulers of Bukhara), Museums inside Ark Fortress, Chor Minor, summer residence of Bukhara rulers. Lunch. Depart Bukhara and drive to Khiva (6 hours). Arrival to Khiva. Check in to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Khiva.
Day 8: Khiva - Urgench - Tashkent
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing of Khiva: Ichan-Kala architectural complex (12-19th c.) - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the residence of the last Khan including Ismail Khodja mausoleum, Mohammed Amin Khan madrassah, Kunya-Ark Castle (16-17th c.), Kalta Minor tower, Tash-Hovli Palace (19th c.), Pahlavan Mahmud mausoleum(14-18th c.), Juma Mosque (10th c.). Lunch during the day. Dinner. Transfer to Urgench to catch evening flight to Tashkent, arriving to Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Tashkent.
Day 9: Tashkent - departure
Transfer to the airport. Departure.
